Volunteer Application Process page

In most circumstances, volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or older. In unique situations we may allow volunteers between the ages of 12 and 17 with a signed parental consent form and appropriate supervision.

To better protect the clients in our program, potential volunteers must fill out an agency volunteer application form and a background check form that is submitted to the Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).

After reviewing the volunteer application form and receiving clearance from the BCA, the Volunteer Coordinator will interview the potential volunteer and provide a tour of our facility. At this point the Volunteer Coordinator will submit the potential volunteer's file to the Executive Director for review and approval.

If the volunteer is approved, the Volunteer Coordinator will contact the volunteer to initiate their participation.

To receive an application, please visit us at 3210 Labore Rd. in Vadnais Heights or call JoAnn Lizakowski at 651-789-6207 for additional information. You may also click here to e-mail JoAnn.
